Professional Bio

Iryna Kosogina has PhD degree in Water Treatment Technology (2009) from the KPI, Ukraine. PhD in technics, Ph.D. thesis: “Low-waste technology of wastewater treatment by coagulation method”. Kosogina’s research areas are on water and wastewater treatment technologies, low-waste technologies for purification of processing medium and wastewater from industrial plants. Nowadays the sphere of her scientific interests is researching of Red Mud in water treatment technology of heavy metals and dyes removal.

Supervisor of 3-4 Bachelor theses and 1-2 Master theses every year.

She took part in different Ukrainian and International conferences. At the same time she takes part in two international projects, such as Water Harmony Erasmus+ and Water Harmony Eurasia-II.
